I find it difficult to put my feelings towards this book into words. I read this book back in November 2015, and I get feels every time I think about it. And I cannot stop thinking about it.
The plot develops in such a magical and wonderful way. I was always trying to find some time to open this book and dive into the Victorian Era and live adventures with Tessa, Jem, and Will.
William Herondale became the love of my life. I love everything about him. He's funny and sarcastic, beautiful inside and out. He has such a good personality, a rebel one. He loves books and poetry, and I always love it when he says a quote from a book. And I felt like he had a huge character development in this book.
Don't get me wrong, I love Jem too. He's so sweet and beautiful and compassionate. It's just that I love Will even more... I actually love all the characters; Tessa, Will, Jem, Charlotte, Henry, Sophie, and all the others.
I feel like I won't do justice to this series, even if I keep writing about it for hours. So all I'm going to say is: read this series. It's amazing and fantastic.

Hi, I was wondering if I need to read the mortal instruments series before I read the infernal devices to get the whole world?
ReplyDeleteHi, not at all! I, myself, read Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices) before City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments). However, I do recommend you, if you really want to read The Infernal Devices, to read City of Bones first, you may understand the world better. ;)
